Dive watch—Victorinox Swiss Army Dive Master 500M collection
At Baselworld captured Victorinox Mens Watches Military introduced remodeled versions of the popular dive collection: the Dive Master 500M (mechanical) and also the Dive Master 500 Mid-Size (quartz).
The Dive Master 500M collection (proven in red) is available in a 43 mm Black Ice PVD stainless steel case and it is operated by a self-winding mechanical movement (ETA 2892.A2). The dial remains safe and secure with a flat sapphire crystal with scratch triple interior covered anti-reflective treatment.
The unidirectional rotating dive bezel is with 20-minute indicator. It is with luminescent hands, hour and bezel markers. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date. Screw-in crown and case back. The water-potential is to deal with 500 meters. Obtainable in red, blue, brown, black or dial. Genuine rubber strap matching the dial color, pin buckle.
The Dive Master 500 Mid-Size collection (proven in green) is available in a 38 mm stainless steel case covered with whether Black Ice PVD coating or Gold PVD – operated by Swiss made Ronda 715 quartz movement. The dial remains safe and secure with a flat sapphire crystal with scratch triple interior covered anti-reflective treatment.

Victorinox designers didn’t create a lot of changes towards the Swiss Diver Watch Master collection – there is you don’t need to. Actually, both collections are identical aside from the addition of the new 38 mm case size (mechanical is available in 43 mm, quartz is available in 43mm and 38 mm), and remodeled dials and hands. The rejuvenated dials, with new hands and markers, are actually cleaner and simpler to see.
Please be aware that most of the 38 mm models include an orange trimmed minute hand (not proven). I’d an opportunity to put on both mechanical and quartz divers to have an extended time period, even though the 38 mm version is of course a little much more comfortable compared to bigger 43 mm case, both of them are very comfortable. Typically a larger diameter, means less comfort, however the designers clearly compensated special focus on comfort here.
Visually, the 38 mm diameter case includes a more conservative appearance, because of its more compact size. The 43 mm, because of its bulk, looks more masculine and rugged. The gold PVD model is luxurious, and may be easily mistaken for any very costly solid 18K gold watch. Both case dimensions are extremely comfortable.
