On the Wrist: A. Lange & Söhne Little Lange 1 Moon Phase Ladies Watch
This new version of the brand’s classique is now 1.7 millimetres smaller. The polished pink-gold case contrasts elegantly with the exquisitely guilloché, argenté-coloured gold dial. Featuring two golden moons, the lunar disc of this model is also argenté-coloured. The Swiss A. Lange & Söhne astronomical complication emulates the synodic orbit of the earth’s companion so accurately that it only needs to be corrected by one day every 122.6 years. Shiny pink-gold hands and appliques accentuate the asymmetric dial with its precisely jumping outsize date display. The delicately gradated colour concept is immaculately complemented with a white alligator leather strap that is secured with a pink-gold pin buckle.
The technical features of the new manually wound L121.2 include the characteristic twin mainspring barrel with a power reserve of 72 hours. The large cam-poised balance paired with a hair-spring crafted in-house oscillates beneath the hand-engraved balance cock. The lavishly hand-finished movement of this timepiece is a true gem that can be admired through the sapphire-crystal caseback.
